AGA E-mail Lists

We have three mailing lists available: aga-announce, aga-member and aga-forums.

aga-announce is for sporadic important announcements about the AGA or the hobby in general (speakers, conventions, regional club activities, contests, etc).

aga-member is a free-form "chat" list for members for general exchange of information. It is available as individual messages or digest form.

aga-forums is a read-only e-mail mirror of the AGA Forum (bulletin board). If you subscribe to this list, you will get every forum posting delivered to you as an e-mail message. Yipes! We recommend using Digest Mode for this one. Why does this list exist? we hear you ask...well, a few of us on the AGA board were raised on e-mail lists and don't have the fortitude to go check a website every day. This list gives us a way to see what's going on the forum, and if a particular topic is interesting, it's only one click away! (Note that to reply, you do so on the forum, not via the mailing list.) Informally, we've dubbed this list the "geezer-gateway".
